How to create and run simple C++ programs in Visual Studio 2012? -

I am currently a CSC student in India. We have lots of C ++ for the study but are still limited. Even if it goes the most, then the most difficult program will be to create a library management system or bank management system. The problem with the current course is that it relies on older C ++ standards and we work on the old Turbo C ++ compiler.

I have a Windows 8 system, I can not work turbo C ++ seamlessly. In order to emulate the performance capabilities in my system, I have to use the dosbot. Would like to switch to the new compiler / IDE which is based on the latest C ++ standards and fits for future education.

I tried Visual Studio and Netbeans and both are powerful and excellent but I can not cope with these IDE because I can not find ways to practice silly code learning from school. We do not learn C ++ to an extended level as I said earlier. The option in Visual Studio is to create a new project and I did it, but it seems that these 'projects' to develop a program based on 'C ++' for developers is not a help for me like this. Many people recommend Visual Studio Express to learn C ++, but I still can not understand the working principles. Whenever I create many files in Visual Studio and debug them, then all those files will have to be debug at one time and I can not use the main function for every C ++ file because It reports an error.

I have to know how I can create, edit and organize my C ++ files in Visual Studio 2012. Or, if these apps are for developers and enthusiasts, can you recommend me some other IDE parts to practice my code without going to the complex parts?
