android - Connecting to a Cache (InterSystems) Database using Java -

I am currently creating an Android application and need to be connected to the InterSystems Cash (ODBC) database, this is the first time I have developed for Android and in the past Java has not connected to the database, any help would be appreciated. For Android development, I recommend using web services or the rest instead of the ODBC
