html5 - How to deliver .m4v as .mp4 for Firefox -

Is there a way to distribute 'movie.m4v' in Firefox 21 as 'movie.mp4'? I had already thought that to sniff FF21 with PHP and put it as 'Movie.mp4' as an additional source in the video element (HTML5) and try to replace a suffix with a simple mod-rearlight Of But it did not work. What is the way to change suffix in HTX without FT? Is sending a m4v-file very much with MP4-suffix?

(forgot to add Mozilla suffix M4V (as it happened in iOS two years ago; Apple had fixed it within two days of reporting it) or on purpose Because it is only normal and not in imagination.)

Thanks, Runa

Make sure your .htaccess file or Apache is in config:

  AddType video / mp4 mp4 m4v f4v f4p

Firefox doesn ' F Keep in mind about Ail extension, it is going to set what type of content server cares that HTTP headers, it is the server who care about the file extension.
