html - Select element with font family Verdana and font size misaligns the option selected -

When a verdana font-family is selected as a font style for an element, then it is Chrome and IE Works fine in But it behaves differently in Firefox, as well as with the option to overlap the dropdown arrow. Can anyone suggest a solution?

I just have my inline Move the style to style sheet:

 Select {font: 12px verdana;}  
 And it starts working for me.
