I created an MVC 4 app and for the first time I am trying to use membership.
I have a SQL database where I have created membership tables and I have added my providers, roles and a user using "ASP.NET Configuration".
When I try to log in using the login page, I get this error;
To call this method, "subscription provider" property should be an example of "extended ambrosia provider".
I am not using a dragon, nor am I using a newgate.
My config file looks like this;
& amp; Member subscription default provider = "SqlMembershipProvider" & gt; & Lt; Providers & gt; & Lt; Add connection StringName = "ApplicationServices" name = "SqlMembershipProvider" type = "System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider" /> & Lt; / Providers & gt; & Lt; / Subscription & gt; & Lt; RoleManager enabled = "true" default provider = "SqlRoleProvider" & gt; & Lt; Providers & gt; & Lt; Add connection StringName = "ApplicationServices" name = "SqlRoleProvider" type = "System.Web.Security.SqlRoleProvider" /> & Lt; / Providers & gt; & Lt; / RoleManager & gt;
This was added to me.
My Account Administrator has the following attribute, but deleting it does not make any difference.

If (ModelState. ISIILID & WebSectoryLogin (model.UserName, Model
< Div> post text "itemprop =" text ">
You set in config but try to pick one and keep your app in line with it. If you set DB against SimpleMembersip (often a user with a user ID, a table with the user name and other fields), then change your configuration like this and ensure that
InitializeSimpleMembershipFilter User ID appears as a user name field as they are set up Your table: & member membership default provider = "SimpleMemimp Provider" & gt; & Lt; Providers & gt; & lt; clear / & gt; & lt; add name = "simplemempress provider" type = "WebMatrix.WebData.SimpleMembershipProvider, WebMatrix.WebData" /> gt; & lt; / providers & gt; Lt; / subscription & gt; roleManager defaultProvider = '' SimpleRollProvire ???? & gt; & lt; providers & gt; & Lt; Add name = â ???? SimpleRoleProvider Type = "WebMetricsWebData.SamplerollProvider, WebMetricsWebData / ??? & lt; / providers & gt; & lt; / roleManager & gt;
Otherwise, to set up SqlMembershipProvider You can see below this page for:
