How to write a file's name with special character in command line? -

I have a file called '-help.txt' in Ubuntu I know that I use the command like this Should:

  & gt; Rm ./-help.txt

Can someone give me a URL where I can learn systematically how to handle special characters in the Ubuntu command line. Thanks a lot!

Try the manpage first:

  & gt; Man RM

Of course, you are using GNU RM , and you think that use of GNU programs - to differentiate options with arguments, even if Only / work .

& gt; Then try the GNU Information System:
& gt; Information RM & gt; Info fileutils
