linux - Launching custom desktop from command line with Ubuntu 13.04 -

I am trying to learn Linux, especially cli and I have customized my GRUB file and the "cool splash" "Text" has changed. "

It has given me the ability to launch Ubuntu in clear-only mode. When I run the startx command, it launches a blank / default desktop is the same It is possible to launch the desktop, I see that the "silent splash" value is in place

In other words, can I complete the desktop with sidebar, time, short cut and other stuff?

Try this command instead of startx in the command line.

  # unity
