iphone - Apple Rejection: Invalid Launch Image -

Does anyone know what this message is from Apple:

"iPhone 5 Optimization Required - Your binary is not optimized for the iPhone 5. By May 1st, all new iPhone apps and applications presented should support a 4-inch display on the iPhone 5. All apps have the right size launch image Should be included Learn more about Iphone 5 IOS Human Interface Guidelines . "

" Invalid Launch Image - There is a launch image with a resizing modifier in your app which is only supported for apps created with iOS 6.0 SDK or later ".

I am using Xcode version 4.2 and Base SDK 5.0

, created by me The projection images are as follows:

  • Default.png (320 x 480)
  • Default@2x.png Post- Text "itemprop =" text ">
    1. As Ma Y 2013 you need to support iPhone 5 in your app. Otherwise it will be rejected.
    2. To get the iPhone 5 support you must use the iOS 6.0 SDK to compile your app.
    3. To use IOS 6.0 SDK, you need at least Xcode 4.5

and Xcode 4.5 at least requires OS X Lion.

So if you are still on the snow leopard, then it is time to update the lion or mountain lion.
If your computer is not capable of running one of two new OSs then it's time to buy a new Mac.

If you need to buy a new Mac, then it is the one who is capable of running Mountain Lion. Wikipedia tells me that Xcode 5 does not run on the lion (which you have to use to get the iOS 7 SDK).
