I need to go through an in-design document so that all auto page numbers convert special characters to their real value Go.
Then on each page, find an Auto Page Number icon and replace it with the evaluation of the value
I can not find a script that does that - and no I'm a design scholarship specialist.
Has anyone got any solutions for this?
OK, I think I've worked it 've.
main (); Function main () {app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.interactWithAll; App.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "~ N"; Var FindGrep = app.activeDocument.findGrep (); (I = 0; i & lt; FindGrep.length; i ++) for {var item = FindGrep [i]; Var Page = ItemPointText Frame [0]. Parentpage; Item.contents = page.name; } Alert ("done"); } Adobe has struggled to find valuable documents
It has really helped:

Edit: If your page numbering is in a master, you will need to "override all page master items" (check page palette) Edit 2: This design works on 5.5 (not sure about 6) Edit 3: InDesign Works on Isi
