php - What technology can be used to update a web page with updated content without refreshing the page? -

We have been trained at work for courses that we should never do. What we are trying to achieve is the following: We have a statistics page from multiple folders / servers (we can distribute them in any format, HTML, TCT etc.). It is currently available for every minute up to date information. Refreshes with. We do not want to refresh the page but to change the data in the page only when we change it, we want it to be updated every time it happens (if possible). An example I give to updates Facebook or Twitter when someone posts a new post

Which technology would we need for this job? JQuery? Ajax? Javascript? And is there any specific part of the technique that can do this that we can target this course?

Any help / indicator appreciated

You are searching.

This is a slightly dated method of simulating or (where essentially) an AJAX request remains open for long periods of time (instead of continuous voting), unless the server actually sent a The response is not there.

Nowadays, you should look like a business product, such as using the website server-side , instead of continuously voting with the customer to start the communication.
