While compiling my application as a variant 5.0.6.1 hybrid application with BlackBerry 6/7 environment, I The following is the warning message:

config.xml is malformed xml or not found in the root of the application.

As long as your .cod file is being generated and you install it successfully and If you do not manage the application function with any issue, then I suggest ignoring this warning message. I am not yet to see the damage to the varkalite application by any means.
