css - How can I use a JQuery slideDown() without affecting the rest of the page? -

There is currently a list of results in "row" classes. I have these rows divided into two pieces, and " Span8 "and" span4 "span 4 disappear until the function calls the slide down. However, it is more than a height line, so when it slides, the rest of the page is moved down a bit. Is it some way to "go" through other elements? Like in MS Word when you have an image and it is in the "through" position that she can sit at the top of the text without affecting it.

Put it in a position, and add "Status: Relative" to your line segment.

Instead of displaying another option, visibility must be set: none will keep height by jumping.
