From an app, is there any way to create a calendar with programs which is unseen? Or, what's the best way to get it as close as possible? For example, there is a unique "Event Details" screen with their custom description in the Facebook event. The user can not edit the event from iCal, but instead click on "View on Facebook"
1) I have detected local calendar and iCloud calendars but users can easily edit events and calendars, including removing them from iCal.
2) From the app, I can not seem to create a new EKSource to keep total control, even creating a new calendar in the existing CalDAV source of the calendar created in that source does not even reveal it.
3) The EKCalendar class has an allowed content modulation property, but it is read-only and can not be modified.
Official feedback from Apple Developer Technical Support:
Our engineers Your request has been reviewed and concluded that there is no supported way of obtaining the desired functionality due to the current shipping system configuration.
So there is no way to do this as of now.
