Parameters of getView method - android -

Can you please tell me how to find the right criteria for this method: getView (int position, view conversion view , ViewGroup Parent)

I have a list view with a custom adapter. The list view looks like this:

TextView Edit Text - TextView Edit Text - TextView Edit Text ...

What is the Convertview and Parent Parameter?

Such:

1. Is the situation.
2. Convertview is used for recycling ideas so that you do not have to have a bunch running
3. An adapter for the guardian's view, for which the list view I assume.
