Windows puts extra slash in git remote repository path -


after running in Windows 

  git remote show original   
 I get an error:  
  Fatal: '/home/git/repositories//username/git-project.git' does not appear to be a git repository  < / Pre> 
 Before the user name is an additional slash, why would it be?  
 This is a repo config:   
 
 
 I got it from 5.0 to 5.1 for GitLab Resolved your version by
