shell - Making Terminal Vim my default text editor. xfce4 FreeBSD -

I want to be able to double click on a file and want to open it in VIM inside the terminal.

I can change the default app by right clicking and selecting "Use custom command" by selecting "Open with other apps" and then I wrote it using a shell script in that file. .. which makes it work in

  Terminal-A vim

that it opens VIM in the terminal, but the file I was selecting

So how can I change the script so that I choose Can open e-files?

You can simply file a vim.desktop .
