send stringt from android over wifi and recieve in PC(java program) -

I want to create a simple Android app in which I just have a text view and a button. On click of that button, string is received in TextView and on PC. New to Android programming and network programming 1. Suggest a device used in PC. 2. A few simple steps to achieve this. 3. Some healthy tutorials to better understand things.

Sorry, if I sound stupid: thank you in advance p.

Welcome to the Stack Overflow!

OK just like you want to jump into the programming world Android The first head is fine but you should start somewhere. The best series of tutorials I've seen is that. The video is very easy to understand and the series is made from 200 videos. All this comes from downloading and installing Eclipse for some advanced concepts (which is a tool you can use to develop the Android apps So if you have a fundamental understanding you can choose and which video you want to see, if you want a full crash course, then see them all. There are about 3000 other videos in all programming languages. Such as java which you will not already know.

P.C. If you do not have any live server set to play, then I suggest downloading XAMPP on this link. This allows you to create many things on your computer, all of which are free as with a SQL database phpmyadmin and many other things. If you are looking at anything from 200 videos in The New Boston, then you will have a better understanding of what you should do to meet your goals. You will have better understanding to ask in the future in particular. Hope it's helpful, just ask if you want anything
