reporting services - How to display static values after report result in SSRS 2008 having two DataSet -

I created an SSR report in BIDS 2008. I want to display some static values after the result. Suppose the report displays 100 records, so at the end of these records I want to display the following results:

How to Find It

Thanks

All you need to do is add a table footer row (or rows) and enter your required value there. For example:

Enter image details here

Designer It is a simple table with just one header row, one expansion line and two footer rows, while running the report, looks like this:

 Enter image details here

means that all the lines of the result are displayed, then some lines of static data are displayed.

Edit after comment

According to the comment it contains a mix of dataset.

To obtain a field from another dataset in the table, you can use this type of expression:

  = first (field! Static1.Value, " DataSet2 ")

This specifies that the field is in a different area, that is, DataSet2 . You need to use first in these codes because there should be some kind of total expression in these cases; If you have only one line in your static data dataset, you can easily use another but the first is most understandable for me.

You can also consider:

  • Before treating static data as a separate table below, but in both rectangles, To keep aside; It will appear to users like a table.

  • Add a fixed field to each line in Dataset 1, but only display them in the footer rows.

Any of these can work, but depending on your description, my first option is best.
