MongoDB replica set to stand alone backup and restore -

For reasons of development, I need to back up a production replica set of mangodb and restart different machine test instances on a stand alone I

some docs contrast (standalone 2 replica-set) I'm talking about, but I can not get his downgrade / rollback route.

What is the way to go about this matter?

However, how many nodes you have in the replica set, each one keeps the same data.

So getting the data is easy - just use the mongodump in a new mongode (especially against the secondary, for performance reasons) and then for the development of your code < Code> mongorestore -elonon system.

mongodump does not raise a collection related to a replication (they live in a database called local ) if you < Instead of using code> mongodump , take a file system snapshot of a replication node, make sure to leave the local database on your product when you restore the snapshot alone and then click < Restart code> mongod so that it can properly detect that this replication Let's share not .
