I want to replace an Android tablet (for example a Nexus 7) to run only 1 app on the device. The user should not be able to leave the app or view the Home / Settings Android menu
When the tablet starts, the app is launched immediately and no other application should be able to start.
How can this be done?
The second aspect of any tablet to the user is to make your app a launcher.
By doing so, whenever the tablet is unlocked it will be shown, and the Home button will take the user to your app. If you do not launch any app on your own, you will lock the user effectively on the device.
