sharepoint - Send Email to second manager if the item hasn't been approved after one day -

I'm new to SharePoint and having difficulty understanding the approval process. We have a list with all the leave requests and there is a workflow on this list that an item has been created, as soon as the email is sent to the manager.

What we want to do is add another manager

Is this possible and how do I do this in SharePoint?

You have a timer in the workflow You can set up a one-day timer, then if the approval is on the condition it is not approved then send an email to another manager.
