Gif library for ruby/jruby? -

I am thinking that there is a jruby library which helps in making GIF pixels by pixels, such as Chunky_PNG pure ruby It would be nice, but anything would have to happen. It does not look like RubyGums.

I am aware of rmagick4j, but the library just does not work

Rmagick , which wrapped the image Magic Library. It is not specific to GIF, but it supports animated GIF.
