jquery - How can I correctly install the DateTables plugin? -

I have found a plugin on the line and I am trying to install it for the past four hours, unfortunately I do I'm unable to

I added the meta tag

  & lt; Style type = "text / css" title = "current style" & gt; @import "css / dataTable / demo_page.css"; @import "css / dataTable / demo_table_jui.css"; @import "css / datatable / jquery-ui-1.8.4.custom.css"; & Lt; / Style & gt; & Lt; Script type = "text / javascript" src = "/ cms_testing / js / jquery.dataTables.js" & gt; & Lt; / Script & gt;

Yes above it is that I have done so far

The file exists, I have done a double check.

This is my html table

  & lt; Table id = "internalActivities" & gt; & Lt; Thead & gt; & Lt; Tr & gt; & Lt; Th colspan = "3" & gt; Internal activities & lt; / Th & gt; & Lt; / Tr & gt; & Lt; / Thead & gt; & Lt; Tbody & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-align: left;" & Gt; & Lt; A href = "display-call.php? Account_id = 9 & amp; amp; amp; amp; call_id = 1128" & gt; & Lt; Strong & gt; Initial development & lt; / Strong> & Lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & Gt; 05/23/2013 06:19 AM & lt; / Td> & Lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & Gt; Name & lt; / Td> & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Td colspan = "3" & gt; & Lt; Em> Call results: Messages delivered - follow up to 21 days later & lt; / Em> & Lt; Br / & gt; & Lt; P class = "sub_note" & gt; At the bottom of the list & lt; / P & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-align: left;" & Gt; & Lt; A href = "display-call.php? Account_id = 9 & amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; call_id = 1052" & gt; & Lt; Strong & gt; Step 2 development & lt; / Strong> & Lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & Gt; 04/19/2013 11:05 AM & lt; / Td> & Lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & Gt; Name & lt; / Td> & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Td colspan = "3" & gt; & Lt; Em> Call results: Partial discussion & lt; / Em> & Lt; Br / & gt; & Lt; P class = "sub_note" & gt; Awef & lt; / P & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; / Tbody & gt; & Lt; / Table & gt;

I have not found any errors but do not display the table as it should. Merge two columns to U because of using collspan in

some td

Should not. See my HTML coding if it works, then do its job. & lt; Div & gt; & Lt; Table ID = "Internal Activity" cellpadding = "0" cellspacing = "0" range = "1" square = "display" width = "100%" & gt; & Lt; Thead & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Th & gt; Internal activities & lt; / Th & gt; & Lt; Th & gt; & Lt; / Th & gt; & Lt; Th & gt; & Lt; / Th & gt; & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; / Thead & gt; & Lt; Tbody & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-line: left;" & Gt; & Lt; A href = "display-call.php? Account_ id = 9 & amp; amp; call_id = 1128" & gt; & Lt; Strong & gt; Initial development & lt; / Strong> & Lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & Gt; 05/23/2013 06:19 AM & lt; / Td> & Lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & Gt; Name & lt; / Td> & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; TD & gt; & Lt; Em> Call results: Messages delivered - follow up to 21 days later & lt; / Em> & Lt; Br / & gt; & Lt; P class = "sub_note" & gt; At the bottom of the list & lt; / P & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; TD & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; TD & gt; & Lt; / TD & gt; & Lt; / TR & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Td style = "text-line: left;" & Gt; & Lt; A href = "display-call.php? Account_id = 9 & amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; call_id = 1052 '& gt; & lt; strong & gt; step2 development & lt; / strong & gt; & lt; / A & gt; & lt; / td & gt; & lt; td style = "text-align: center;" & gt; 04/19/2013 11:05 am & lt; / td & gt; & lt; Td style = "text-align: center;" & gt; name & lt; / td> & lt; / tr & gt; & lt; tr & gt; & lt; td & gt; & lt; em & Gt; Call result: Partial discussion & lt; / em>
